A
serial killer, who is holding a girl
hostage in a death trap, is in a coma.
The FBI enlists a pretty psychologist
to journey into the killer's mind via
virtual reality in hopes of learning
the victim's location.
A
colorful, stylish and somewhat creative
crime drama that probably could be a
little scarier. As it exists, however,
there's a decent story to hold the weird
activities together. No one really sets
the screen on fire here, but all performances
are passable.
If
the director would've gone half a step
further, we might have ended up with
a very good movie here. I suspect some
other director will do so soon with a
similar script.
Directed
by Tarsem Singh.
