Two New Jersey counter jockeys have to put up with long hours, lost love, annoying customers and unexpected death while still try to work in a game street hockey.

Writer/Director Kevin Smith's first offering is the funniest movie of the year. Filmed on a shoestring budget and starring many of his friends, Clerks is a comedy with polished dialogue and creative characters, highlighted by the almost-famous Jay and Silent Bob.

A cult classic since it's release in '95, Clerks should be in the collection of even mainstream movie lovers.
