Braveheart is simply one of the best films of the 1990's. This movie just about has it all, drama, intense action, intrigue and rich romance. It is wonderfully written, directed, acted and photographed. Gibson gives the finest performance of his career and Sophie Marcue is wonderful as a spiritually lost princess. A gritty, spectacular picture; this is one of the most engaging movies I have ever seen.
