After a Marine private is brutally beaten and killed in his bed at a US Military base, a cocky, young Navy lawyer is selected to head a defense team for the accused. But he'll have to trample over Marine ethic and a tough as nails colonel to find out the truth. Based on the Aaron Sorkin play.

A Few Good Men is full of excellent performances that should especially appeal to fans of Cruise and Nicholson. The courtroom drama and plot twists are enough to keep everyone interested in uncovering the truth about a military murder. The tension between Cruise and Nicholson is a true big screen treat and the supporting roles are as good as you'd expect from names like these. A powerful motion picture that could have you rooting for the bad guy.

Oscar nominations for Best Picture, Best Sound, Best Editing and Best Supporting Actor (Nicholson).

Directed by Rob Reiner.
